Egghead, a recurring Batman villain, is the alter ego of Edgar Nigma, a self-proclaimed "world's smartest criminal." A master strategist and inventor, Egghead believes himself to be superior to everyone else, which leads to elaborate and often ridiculous schemes.

His signature is his bald head, which is always prominently displayed, and his penchant for egg-themed crimes and puns. He incorporates eggs into his weaponry, disguises, and overall criminal modus operandi.

First appearing in the 1960s Batman television series, Egghead was portrayed by Vincent Price. The character was created specifically for the show and has since been adapted into comic books, animated series, and other media.

While not physically imposing, Egghead is a cunning and intellectual foe for Batman, often challenging the detective's intellect as much as his physical abilities. His flamboyant personality and egg-centric obsessions make him a memorable, if somewhat absurd, member of Batman's rogues gallery.
